About Me

Howdy! I'm Megan Bartlett, a teacher at a Title 1 school in the Houston area and BLESSED to be working in my dream job, 6th grade math! In the past I have also taught PreK, 3rd, and 5th, all subjects. Math is by far, my favorite.

I decided to blog about my journey in 6th grade because there are so few of us "tween" teacher bloggers out there. My hope is share my resources for this tween age group.

I am originally from Aggieland, and moved to the Houston area when I married my college sweetheart, Kyle. We met at Ouachita Baptist University where we both swam on swimming scholarships. We have been married for almost 3 years, and are the proud parents of 2 fur babies, Toby, the English Bulldog, and Pippa, the Aussie/Heeler mix.
